At Bounce Creative Designs we are committed to making a positive change to lower our carbon emissions. We are proud to offer our CO2 collection which provides you with the carbon footprint per product. We want to inspire you to join us in changing the way we give.
The product development process is where we can make the most positive change. For example, using recycled material has a lower negative impact than virgin materials, while production in Europe lowers the transportation phase footprint.
Promotional products with Impact
No greenwashing, but telling a true story about sustainability! The promotional impact collection is made with the AWARE™ tracer. The use of genuine recycled fabric materials and water reduction impact claims are guaranteed, by using the AWARE™ tracer technology. Promotional products with impact Aware™ save water and use genuine recycled fabrics and materials.
If you choose promotional products from the impact collection, you could save up to 15 litres of water and recycle 26 plastic bottles. With the focus on water, 2% of proceeds of each Impact product sold will be donated to Water.org. Aware™ makes data public to track and validate the end-to-end impact of sustainable textiles from origin to consumer. The Aware™ process begins with embedding a physical tracer in the sustainable textile at source. Using the Aware™ hand scanner enables instant verification along the entire value chain.
How is this achieved? Digital Token of the materials validates the data via crypto TC – Which enables transparency. Using the Virtual ID, scan the QR code on the product and consumers can access all unfiltered data on chain from Crypto TC - leaving no room for greenwashing!
Traceability, using the AWARE™ tracer, shows use of genuine recycled fabric materials and water reduction - Impact claims are guaranteed, by using the AWARE™ tracer technology. Promotional products with impact Aware™ save water and use genuine recycled fabrics and materials. Promotional Products with The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS)
GOTS has a clearly defined set of criteria which makes the standards transparent. GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain. When looking for custom printed T shirts and printed tote bags, make sure they are GOTS organic cotton and clearly labelled.
Why GOTS? Environment: It is standard practice in conventional textile processing to use chemicals that are proven to be harmful to human health, some of which are known carcinogens! Such chemicals are strictly prohibited by the GOTS standard.
Social Criteria of GOTS certified promotional clothing and printed bags:
Child labour is prohibited/ Employment is to be freely chosen – no forced labour / No discrimination is permitted and harsh or inhumane treatment is prohibited / Working conditions must be safe and hygienic / Regular employment is to be provided and working hours are not to be excessive / There is to be freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
Organic Guarantee and Traceability through GOTS Labelling - Seach GOTS products
Global Recycled Standards
Products which have been certificated with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), tracks and verity’s the content of recycled materials in the final product. The objectives of the GRS are to define requirements to ensure accurate content claims and good working conditions, and that harmful environmental and chemical impacts are minimised.
The GRS label has strict guidelines and certification processes. It verifies the recycled content of textile products, backed by independent certification of the input material. The GRS certification also addresses the social aspects of production. GRS certified products must comply with labour standards as set by the International Labour Organisation.
The Global Recycled Standard sets social requirements regarding: social policies, record-keeping, forced labour, child labour, freedom of association, discrimination, harassment, and abuse, health and safety, wages and benefits, terms of employment and working hours
Recycled Claim Standard
The Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) is a voluntary, international content claim standard that gives credibility to recycled material claims by tracking recycled input through the supply chain of products. The RCS uses the chain of custody requirements of the Content Claim Standard which are:
Recycled materials / at least 5% recycled content / Traceability of the recycled material throughout the entire production process from the recycler to the final product / Ethical and responsible production / Ethical work conditions and labour practices, including compliance to the International Labour Organisation’s labour standards
The Recycled Claim Standard is intended for use with any product that contains at least 5% Recycled Material. Each stage of production is required to be certified, beginning at the recycling stage and ending at the last seller in the final business-to-business transaction. Material Collection and Material Concentration sites are subject to self-declaration, document collection, and on-site visits.
Don’t just take our word for it, ask us for product compliance certifications.
Promotional Products and Blockchain
We predict it won’t be long before all promotional products have some sort of blockchain implemented. Transparency is becoming vital to consumers and product reputation with more sustainable demands. We are already seeing blockchain used to stop greenwashing via verification and use in supply chain management. Blockchain are QR codes, smart labels, near-field communication (NFC) and (RFID) tags. Blockchain is simply a record of data distributed and verified with no counterfeiting or manipulation at any end by the very definition of distributed records.
The fashion industry will see the biggest benefit and this will be adopted to promotional garments and textile products along with new innovation we are already seeing with the AWARE tracer.
Why the fashion Industry?
Monitor delivery with GPS tracking from warehouse, distribution centre to the customers front door. Luxury brands can reduce counterfeit by registering the product on the blockchain at the start of the supply chain process. Customer can prove and verify ownership. Fashion Giant Burberry, developed a prototype which allows Burberry customers to register their garments and view history and information about the environmental and human impact of the item itself.
